Crawford UK sign up Evans Easyspace with a National Contract

Since its formation in 2000, Evans Easyspace has become established as the UK’s leading provider of new, quality offices and workshops tailor made to suit small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).  Conversely Crawford UK Limited is one of the leading suppliers of industrial doors and docking systems and this year celebrate operating 40 years in the UK.

Evans Easyspace spent some time searching for a national supplier that could provide reliable installation and ongoing maintenance of doors and docking systems on their purpose built Evans Business Centres across the UK.  They were keen to work with a company that is able to take care of major clients on a national basis and also set agreed prices to enable customers’ to calculate ongoing project costs in the long term. 

During 2008 Evans Easyspace will open nine new-build Evans Business Centres which include industrial units.  Crawford UK recommended the Crawford 542 overhead sectional door for Evans Business Centre as the design is optimal for customers who need robust, well-insulated and space-saving doors in the outer walls of industrial premises.  A high quality, 42mm think, sandwich panel provides good insulation values and corrosion protection.  This, together with a number of operational options, means that the Crawford 542 overhead sectional door practically meets every individual demand.

The agreement with Evans Easyspace means that this door will be supplied on a national basis, all the same colour, to all new build Evans Business Centres.

But the supply and installation of the product wasn’t the only key requirement considered. A reliable and efficient after sales service providing both preventative maintenance and repair facilities on an ongoing basis was also a prerequisite. An extended warranty and Crawford Service Keys agreement has been put in place, giving the end user of the building direct access to the Crawford Service and Maintenance department and its 24 hour call out service.  Should a problem occur, only one contact number is required to arrange service or repair for all the products on site.
